Finance Canada is advising that the Steel Derivative Goods Surtax Order has been amended to extend the exemption for auto and aerospace inputs to June 30, 2027.
The amendment Order was published in the Canada Gazette, Part II on July 1, 2026.
The appropriate special authorization code should be included on customs documents.
