Powdered Surgical Gloves banned from entry into the US as of January 18th, 2017

The Federal Register published the official ban on the importation of powdered surgical gloves into the United States as of January 18^th, 2017.  The FDA has acted to enact the ban because it has been determined the risks of adverse reactions to the powder outnumber the benefits.  Additionally, non-powdered gloves were found to offer similar performance.
